Dr. Dylan Holst
PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
I grew up in and graduated high school from Spencer Iowa where I spent the majority of my life. I then chose to attend Simpson college right out of high school where I pursued a degree in Exercise and health Sciences as well as played football for the next two years. After my sophomore year, I transferred to Iowa State University for the last two years of my undergraduate education and absolutely loved being a cyclone. For the next 3 years I spent time in the Des Moines area attending Des Moines University for my graduate education to receive my Physical Therapy degree!
I am a new grad PT and have just started working in June 2024. So, while I have not worked at a prior PT location, I have been at Kaizen for an internship back in January – March 2024. I have additional PT internship experience in general orthopedic OPT, variety rural critical access hospital, and IPT neurological settings.
Core Values:

I provide physical therapy services to all patients seeking musculoskeletal or orthopedic related concerns. I want to fix everyone’s ability to be who they want to be in their own body without worrying about any sort of pain or limitation.
I enjoy treating many different types of shoulder pathologies, low back pain, knee pathologies, and ankle pathologies.
I enjoy the welcoming atmosphere, team-committed mindset, and the amazing patients I work with everyday to help reach their goals.
In my free time I enjoy exercising and specifically am an avid powerlifter. I’m big into playing pickleball and spikeball as of recent as well. I watch all types of sports and try to get to as many cyclone football and basketball games as I can! I also enjoy spending time outdoors and camping when the weather is nice.
